DISTRIBUTION INTEGRITY
The development of a pipeline integrity management program requires a well-balanced approach. The proposed Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) rule is less prescriptive than the transmission integrity management rule. Although the flexibility of implementation is welcome, this may pose problems in terms of interpretation by operators.

Personnel at EN Engineering are well versed on managing the integrity of natural gas systems and have sat side-by-side with our customers through jurisdict ional audits. We have played a key role working with industry groups and PHMSA in the development of the GPTC DIMP guidance document and independently authored a DIMP Plan Preparation Aid. Additionally, the staff at EN Engineering has valuable insight gained from decades of managing and operating major gas transmission and distribution company assets.
