Duke Energy - Ohio (formerly Cinergy)
Multi-year contract providing detailed design, material lists and permitting applications for various 2-5 mile modules, for replacement of approximately 50 miles of cast iron main annually. Project is expected to run thru 2016.
Vectren Energy - Indiana and Ohio
Multi-year contract to providing detailed design, material lists and cost estimates for replacement of approximately 100 miles of cast iron and bare steel main annually. Project is a 20 year program expected to run thru 2028.
Nicor Gas, Storage Projects - Illinois
Providing detailed design, material specifications, and material lists for various compressor station equipment, both new installations and revisions, within the company’s gas storage fields. The scope of the project included gathering lines, station piping and miscellaneous compressor equipment upgrades. A total of $5MM worth of capital projects have been designed annually.
Nicor Gas, Public Improvements - Illinois
Provided detailed analysis and design of all capital improvement projects since 2002. This includes reviewing conflicts and designing around pipeline facilities state, city, and municipal projects. The scope of the projects ranges from 36” transmission main to 2” PE distribution piping annually.

Nicor Gas, Transmission Projects - Illinois
An on-going project providing preliminary engineering services, detailed cost estimates, and engineering design for transmission pipeline projects. Included in the project is design of new station facilities.
Nicor Gas, Regulator Station Replacements - Illinois
On-going project providing detailed design for various regulation facilities. To date, over 12 vault regulator systems and the necessary piping have been designed on an annual basis.
Washington Gas - Washington D.C.
Providing detailed design and material lists for various segments of cast iron main replacement. This is an annual project running from 2005 through 2010. To date, 8 miles of main replacement projects have been completed.
Baltimore Gas and Electric - Maryland
Providing detailed design and material lists for various segments of main replacement associated with road construction projects, new busness, and aging infrastructure. This is a project running from 2005 through 2010. To date, 40 projects have been completed for a total of 15 miles of replacement along with over 20 regulator station redesign projects.
Southwest Gas - Arizona
Provided preparation of all details for the replacement of 7,100’ of 8” transmission line with 16” pipe along with the design of two valve nest tie-in points. Also included was detailed profile views for the installation of the main in an area of significant proposed grading.
Vectren Altra Energy Ethanol Plant - Indiana
Designed meter and regulation facilities for gas supply to an ethanol plant. This included the design of dual 3” pilot operated regulation runs and (2) 8” turbine meter runs along with the associated valving and piping.
Nicor Gas Stepan Chemical Project - Illinois
Provided detailed design, material specifications, and material lists along with detailed procedures for reactivation of 1,000’ of 6” service line serving a chemical plant. Also included was design of metering, heating, and regulating facilities.
Nicor Gas - Barrington System Improvement - Illinois
Extensive project to provide detailed design and material lists for over 5 miles of 12” main replacement due to a public improvement project. Public improvement construction changes resulted in numerous design changes and adjustments.
Nicor Gas - Illinois
Designed the replacement of 400’ of 22” mainline along a major highway. The design required a detailed bore profile to assist the pipeline contractor in avoiding existing utilities in area. The main is installed at a depth of approximately 35’ below the roadway.

Provided detailed design, material specifications, and material list for the installation of (2) 42” pig launcher receiver barrels at two separate station locations. This involved preparing detailed bid packages, participating in the bid and construction meetings, and resolving conflicts during construction.
Nicor Gas - Illinois
Performed the engineering design for the relocate of an 8” distribution main across the Fox River. The design involved directional drilling through rock with an alternative design for open cutting if conditions allowed. Project also included coordination of construction permit approvals from the various agencies including the Army Corp of Engineers, IEPA, Village of Batavia, and Park District.
