The project covered the installation of power generation equipment at
two high school campuses. The facilities at each site included a 1,750
KW power generation unit powered by a natural gas fired reciprocating
engine and all the switchgear and controls necessary to allow for parallel
operation with ComEd. Project began with economic analysis of self generation
compared to purchased power which led to a full turnkey project including
engineering design, material procurement, construction and project management.

Elgin Community College, Cogeneration
Expansion Project - Elgin, IL
Project consisted of design and project management for the addition
of one 880 KW cogeneration unit to existing facility comprised of four
800 KW Units. The project scope included detailed engineering design
for 880 KW cogeneration unit powered by a natural gas fired reciprocating
engine, preparation of all equipment specifications and construction
bid documents, construction bid analysis and project management. 5
United States Gypsum Company, Engineering
Services - Continental U.S.
Long term engineering services contract directed toward USG requirements
related to its natural gas pipeline facilities focusing on corrosion,
pipeline integrity, regulatory requirements and training. ENE provides
all services requested by USG, including facility audits, site investigations,
regulatory review of state and federal codes as applicable to USG gas
operations, development and implementation of pipeline integrity management
plan and assistance with Operator Qualification requirements and training.

Berg Manufacturing, 1,100 KW Power Generation
Project - Wheeling, IL
Conducted electric billing investigation and completed feasibility study
for the installation of onsite power generation unit(s) of between 800
and 1,100 KW to operate on a parallel basis with ComEd. Client is currently
evaluating study recommendations and market conditions to determine
when to move to phase two of the project which would be full turnkey
services, including detailed engineering design, permitting, material
procurement, construction and project management. 5
Berlin Industries, Power Generation Project

Completed engineering and economic analysis of the feasibility of installing
approximately 6,000 KW of power generation equipment to operate in parallel
with ComEd. Phase two of the project, currently under review, is comprised
of three 2,000 KW generation units powered by natural gas fired reciprocating
engines and will include full detailed engineering design, permitting,
material procurement, construction and project management. 5
Indeck Energy Services - Rockford, Illinois
Project manager for a multi-million dollar power plant project from
obtaining right-of-way to boring & open cut installation of six
miles of 16” gas line to metering, cathodic protection and conducting
the final inspection. 5
Enbridge (US) Inc., Corrosion Services
- Midwest U.S.
Long term service contract to provide annual cathodic protection test
point surveys on approximately 5,300 miles of large diameter liquids
and natural gas pipelines over a seven state area and provide technical
services associated with existing and new facilities, including data
management, engineering design for corrosion facilities, assistance
with troubleshooting existing corrosion system abnormalities, commissioning
of new facility installations and assisting with the construction/ installation
of new corrosion facilities. 5

Southern Star Central Pipeline, Pipeline
Integrity - Owensboro, Kentucky
Provide engineering consulting services to assist Southern Star with
development of pipeline integrity management plan for over 600 miles
of transmission system. The project includes identification of HCAs,
identification of threats,development of a baseline assessment plan
and a direct assessment plan as well as all other
required components of a Pipeline Integrity Management Program as required
to meet the federal regulations.5
PECO Energy, Pipeline Integrity –
Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia
Develop complete Pipeline Line Integrity Management Plan for approximately
30 miles of PECO’s gas transmission line to comply with new federal
regulations issued in December, 2003. Work includes all aspects of developing
a pipeline integrity management program including HCA identification,
threat identification, risk assessment, a baseline assessment plan,
a direct assessment plan, modifications of public awareness programs
and all other components required to satisfy the regulations. 5
PDVSA-GAS, Venezuela
Conducted an analysis and evaluation of the design, construction, operation
and maintenance procedures applied to the Anaco-Jose/Puerto La Cruz
gas transmission lines. Verified compliance to ASME B31.8 code and certified
pipeline integrity of the gas transmission system. 5
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory,

Multi year contract for cathodic protection system survey, data management
and recommendations for additional design and installation of cathodic
protection systems for gas distribution system. 5

Provide all corrosion design, consulting and field support services
for the Nicor gas system under multi year service contract including
all corrosion designs for New installations, troubleshooting support,
annual surveys, rectifier and bond reads, rectifier and groundbed installations

Cathodic protection system evaluation and field testing throughout 35
miles of large diameter water transmission pipelines. 5
Sterling Steel, Sterling, Illinois
Recommissioning of large diameter natural gas pipeline which connects
the various process equipment throughout the facility. The project included
all necessary physical inspection and pressure testing of each pipe
system prior to the plant returning to production after a lengthy shut
down. 5
ExxonMobil, Joliet, Illinois
Design build project that included the redesign of the existing utility
meter station including the addition of a customer verification meter.
ENE coordinated the entire project from preplanning and design to coordination
of the joint installation of the new station and the customers meter
station. 5
Del Monte Foods, Mendota, Illinois
Design build project to install 400 feet of 8 inch pipeline to serve
the existing boiler plant and the planned new boiler expansion. ENE
coordinated this project design with the utility system improvement
necessary to handle the increased capacity. The overall project consisted
of 1.5 miles of 6 inch steel pipeline and a new meter and regulator
station feeding the Del Monte plant. 5

Illinois
Development of a hydraulic model of the entire natural gas system serving
Argonne campus. ENE has completed numerous runs of the completed model
to determine if the addition of new facilities and the resulting load
could be handled by the existing system and he size natural gas main
needed to serve any new facility being constructed. 5
West Shore Pipeline, Atmospheric Survey
– Illinois,Indiana,Wisconsin
Conducted atmospheric corrosion control survey on over 30 facilities
including pipeline spans. The services included visual inspection of
all facilities, testing of coating thicknesses, risk ranking utilizing
ENE risk model, analysis and recommendations. 5
